Coffman Statement on King v Burwell

Statement

U.S. Representative Mike Coffman (R-CO) offered the following statement in reaction to the Supreme Court ruling in King v. Burwell upholding Obamacare subsidies.

"Obamacare is not only a poorly drafted law, it is a disaster for the hundreds of thousands of Coloradans who have had their health insurance plans cancelled and seen their deductibles and premiums skyrocket. While the Supreme Court may have given President Obama a break on bad drafting, that doesn't change the fact that we need to repeal and replace Obamacare with patient-centered reforms that lower cost and expand access.
